Industry Forum

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) held an international industry forum for Op Lanes Maryland on December 13, 2018 at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport Hotel in Linthicum Heights, MD.

Op Lanes Maryland will include improvements for over 70 miles of I-495 and I-270 in Maryland. MDOT is currently considering delivering Op Lanes Maryland as a series of long-term design-build-finance-operate-maintain revenue risk concessions. Each concession would encompass a portion of Op Lanes Maryland and be solicited in phases.

The forum presentation included an overview of Op Lanes Maryland, an update on the environmental process, an overview of the upcoming solicitation process for the first phase of Op Lanes Maryland, and discussion on opportunities for small, disadvantaged, minority and women-owned businesses.
